The bread is excellent but a little heavy for me. I really liked the multi grain baguette. The waffles and chocolate croissants were heavy but understandably since they are made with sour dough. Since there is only just me, I don't want a repeat program - but I like the idea of ordering when I want.
We love the bread and most of the products we've tried, but we have had issues with the deliveries. Once the box was upside down and some products were thawed, last time we had one or two partially thawed products and this past time all of the products were starting to thaw. I haven't baked them yet, so I'm hoping the quality hasn't been affected. Maybe our location in Pitt Meadows is too far away from Vancouver to stay frozen during delivery? Sadly, I have to consider whether I will continue our subscription.
Love the ease of having homemade bread at home! My house smells like a french bakery! We ate the entire baguette standing at the kitchen island 😂
Loved the flavour, but thought they would rise more. I usually add at least 4 minutes to the suggested baking time.
It was delicious except that the cheese leaked out and was slightly burnt.
Their food quality is excellent. But their service and logistics are very poor. The website is extremely hard to use, the subscription based focus is challenging to navigate, and often products show up broken. Dealing with their staff is not useful either. So if you can deal with the headaches, their products are excellent.
The taste is wonderful!! But…. I don’t think I baked them long enough. They came out of the oven nice and brown and puffy, but in 5 minutes fell flat as a pancake. We ate them anyway - they were so good1
I very much enjoy the various breads I receive from Atome bakery. I particularly enjoy being able to select my own choice of breads and that I can change my selection from one delivery to the next. So far, the breads are a “no fail” meaning that they are fresh and delicious every time I bake one.
The apple turnovers and chocolate croissants were amazing. Also loved the lavender cakes. The baguette was good but a little dense.
This last box was very good and still frozen as the one before was completely thawed.
Sourdough from Atom always bakes up lovely, nothing beats the smell of freshly baked bread around the house.
I like to use it when the bread is still warm but wish it wasn't so pricey
It was delicious butter but not enough to justify the price. It was not much different than the butter we buy for a fraction of the cost.
