Atome Bakery Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

We take pride in the quality of every box we ship. Because our products are perishable and made specifically for each order, all sales are considered final once processed.

1. Return Policy

Since our products are perishable and cannot be restocked or resold, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for any reason.

2. Resolutions & Refund Policy

If your order arrives significantly damaged, thawed, or with missing items, please contact us at hello@atomebakery.com within seven (7) days of delivery. We may request photos or additional information to assess the issue.

Where a product is determined to be materially affected due to production or transit issues, Atome Bakery may, at its sole discretion, provide an appropriate resolution. Resolutions may include reshipment, store credit, or partial credit based on the affected portion of the order.

Due to the perishable and frozen nature of our products, refunds are not provided once an order has been processed, except where required under applicable consumer protection laws.

If an order is placed for a location outside our safe delivery range or where transit conditions do not meet our frozen shipping standards, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund prior to shipment.

Duplicate orders that have not yet shipped may be adjusted to a later date within 2 months of original order placement date, or credited back to the account under the form of store credits upon request. Once processed, orders cannot be modified or cancelled.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You may modify, skip, or cancel your subscription any time before your next billing date through your customer portal.

Once an order has been billed and confirmed, it is considered final and non-refundable, as our team immediately begins preparing your products for shipment.

If you cancel after billing but before delivery, your cancellation will apply to the next scheduled billing cycle.

First-order subscription cancellations: If you wish to cancel your subscription after placing your first order but before it has been delivered, the subscription discount will no longer apply. In that case, we will issue an invoice for the price difference between the discounted subscription rate and the regular one-time purchase price. Once that balance is settled, your subscription can be cancelled. Alternatively, you may wait until after your first order has been delivered to cancel without any additional charge afterwards.

4. Storefront (One-Time) Orders

All orders placed directly through our website are final once payment is completed. Because our products are perishable and made to order, we cannot accommodate cancellations or refunds after checkout.

If you made an error in your shipping address, please contact us within 24 hours at hello@atomebakery.com. We will do our best to update your address before shipping begins, though changes cannot be guaranteed.

5. Exceptions

The following situations are not covered under our credit or replacement policy:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer

  • Customers making changes to the delivery (by communicating with carrier directly) once the delivery is already out - as every communication leads to a delay delivery time

  • Refusal of delivery after shipment

  • Late retrieval of your order, resulting in defrosting or spoilage

  • Delivery issues to PO boxes, as we clearly advertise that we cannot deliver to PO boxes

  • Delivery delays caused by circumstances outside our control (e.g., incorrect address, remote location, or weather-related carrier delays)

If you wish to reship an order that was undeliverable due to one of the above, a 50% replacement charge will apply.
